FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - The University of Arkansas soccer team picked up its fourth win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Missouri State in Springfield on Sunday.
The Razorbacks had one goal in the first half of the match followed with two more goals to hold off Missouri State by a score of 3-0.
Head coach Colby Hale called it a "complete team effort." He said Missouri State is a good defensive team, but overall the Razorbacks were able to create some chances.
The Razorbacks are now 4-0. It's the first time in program history that the Razorback soccer team has started off the season with such a record.
The team next takes on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane at home. The match is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Razorback Field.
