Posted: Updated:

CABOT (KATV) - The FBI says a downed power line that shut down part of Highway 321 was intentionally cut.

Investigators say the believe someone climbed the 100 foot tower and cut the line located where Highway 321 crosses a Union Pacific railroad track. They also say several bolts were removed at the base of the tower.

No one was injured in the incident, but officials say it created a potential danger to the community. A section of Highway 321 from Kerr Station Road to Lakewood Subdivision was closed to traffic from about 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The FBI, Cabot Police Department, and Lonoke County Sheriff's Office are investigating this incident and are asking for the public's help.

If you saw anything in the area you are asked to call the FBI's Little Rock Field Office at (501) 221-9100.
