Conway school bus wrecks, 54 children on board

CONWAY (KATV) - A school bus wrecked with 54 children on board Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 4 PM on South Donaghey Avenue near Stanley Russ Road in Conway.

According to Conway Police Department assistant spokesperson Officer Sean Canady, minor injuries were reported, but no one was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The school bus was traveling North on S. Donaghey when it veered off to the right, struck a driveway culvert, and finally landed in a nearby ditch.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
