FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - The University of Arkansas soccer team has defeated Creighton in a scrimmage by a score of 3-2.
Wednesday night's scrimmage was divided into three 30 minute periods. Arkansas was able to put up three goals in the first period and would go on to hold off the Bluejays for the win.
Head coach Colby Hale says his team did some things well during the scrimmage. Hale says it also exposed some weaknesses.
Arkansas has 11 home matches on their 2013 schedule and will play six teams - Utah State, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Auburn and Missouri - that advanced to last year's NCAA Tournament. 2 of those match-ups will be played on the Razorbacks' home field.
The Razorbacks' season begins on Aug. 23 with a home match against Kansas.
