FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - Calli Berna scored 11 points and had nine assists to lead the University of Arkansas women's basketball team to an 87-28 win over the Vicenza All-Star team in Italy.
Berna's performance in Tuesday's game near Mestre, Italy earned her MVP honors and UA improves to 2-0 on its Italy trip.
Kiera Peak led Arkansas in scoring with 14 points and nine rebounds while Joey Bailey and Melissa Wolff had 12 points each. Wolff led the team with 14 rebounds as well. Arkansas got nine points each from McKenzie Adams and Kelsey Brooks.
The Razorbacks dominated the glass, out-rebounding the All-Stars 60-36 while shooting 39.8% for the game.
The team will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Venice Wednesday before driving more than five hours to Lake Como.
