LITTLE ROCK (AP) - The Little Rock Marathon has set an informational meeting for runners and walkers who want to start training for the 2014 edition of the race.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. Aug. 20 at 400 President Clinton Avenue in downtown Little Rock.
Organizers will introduce a free running/walking program to prepare anyone who wants to take part in the marathon next March.
In addition to the marathon (26.2 miles) distance, schedules are available for the half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), and 5K (3.1 miles). Schedules are available on the training section of the marathon's website.
