JOHNSON (AP) - Rising floodwaters prompted the evacuation of a northwest Arkansas nursing home, but officials say no one was injured.

Our ABC station in Northwest Arkansas, 40/29 News, reports that the Blossom Hill Assisted Care facility in Johnson was evacuated Wednesday morning after a resident awoke to water in her bedroom.

Officials say residents were first taken to a nearby church, then later moved to a facility in Bentonville. Officials say floodwaters are beginning to recede as storms move out of the area.

Law enforcement agencies from Johnson, Springdale, Fayetteville and Washington County assisted with the evacuation.
