Tulsa Man Threatens Police, Arrested

Posted: Updated:

A Tulsa man is booked into jail after allegedly assaulting a woman, then repeatedly threatening police officers early Wednesday morning.

Police were called to a home in the 2500 block of N. Owasso Ave. around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday and heart shouting through the door, with a woman telling them to hurry and come in, a booking report stated.

When officers entered, they said 39-year-old Donald Scott started pushing the victim to the ground as her son was watching.

Scott reportedly ignored commands from the officers to stop, so they had to use force to take him into custody.

As they were arresting him, officers said they noticed the smell of alcohol on him.

According to the booking report, Scott repeatedly told the arresting officers that he was going to shoot them in the head and that they were dead the next time he saw them.

Scott was booked into jail on assault and battery, threatening a violent act, and on outstanding warrants on bonds totaling more than $100,000.
