Arrest made in New Year's death of pastor, granddaughter

LITTLE ROCK - Nearly seven months after a pastor and his granddaughter were killed in a car accident, State Police have arrested a suspect.

Special Agents arrested 37-year-old Kareame Cotton of Little Rock Wednesday afternoon on negligent homicide charges for the New Year's Day deaths of David and Maci Harris. Cotton reportedly hit the Harris' car with his while driving along Interstate 30 near Scott Hamilton Road.

Cotton was also charged with third degree escape for allegedly trying to run away after troopers handcuffed him at the scene of the crash.
