Interstate 430 work to affect traffic

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says work on Interstate 430 on the city's southwest side will affect traffic.

The department says crews will be patching bridge joints and will require rolling lane closures on I-430 from its interchange with I-30 to just south of Colonel Glenn Road. A portion of the southbound outside lane will be closed Wednesday from 9 a.m. until noon.

The work will resume Thursday and the inside lanes of both southbound and northbound I-430 will be closed from about 12:30 p.m. until ab out 3 p.m. - weather permitting
