Three suspects arrested for allegedly stealing cars from NLR car wash

Two brothers and a cousin are arrested in North Little Rock for allegedly stealing cars from two customers at a car wash. 

On Sunday just after 9 p.m. police say a customer at the car was at 3624 JFK was approached by three black men, one of them was armed with a pistol.  The victim says one of the men demanded his car and another man punched him.  The armed suspect allegedly pointed the pistol at the man while one of the other suspects told the armed man to shoot the victim.  The victim then ran and that's when the suspects reportedly took off in his black Mercury.  Police found the car unoccupied later at McCain and North Hills.  16 year old Tavarous Lockett, who is from Caruthersville, MO is being charged as an adult.  He is facing a charge of aggravated robbery and theft of property in this incident.

Lockett, along with brothers Judon Mayberry and Charlie Houston are also facing charges in an alleged car theft at the same car wash just after midnight Monday.  The victim tells police he was washing his car when a man approached him asking for directions.  A second suspect then allegedly pulled out a pistol and the suspects took his car.  Authorities spotted the car at the Exxon gas station at Pershing and Main a short time later.  All three suspects were taken into custody for allegedly robbing the victim at gunpoint.  Tavarous Lockett is being charged with Aggravated Robbery, Theft of property, and Theft by receiving.  Brothers Judon Mayberry and Charlie Houston are each facing one count of Aggravated Robbery, Theft of property, and Contributing to the delinquency of a Minor.  Houston is also being charged with Theft by receiving.

Police say Bernard Sherrod, 20, was found shot outside of his apartment complex on Bryant street.
