North Arkansas man killed in work accident

Posted: Updated:

MOUNTAIN HOME (KATV) - A north Arkansas man died Friday in a work accident.

Michael Martin of Salem went to Tedder Equipment Company at 2232 West Road around noon to pick up a tractor that needed repair. The tractor was loaded onto a trailer and wasn't fully secured to Martin's truck.

Martin was standing between the trailer and the truck. The weight of the tractor shoved the trailer forward into the truck and trapped the 62-year-old between the two around his head.

He died about an hour later at an area hospital.
