Three Arrested in Searcy Gun Store Burglary

(KATV, Source: Searcy PD) Thursday, July 18, detectives with the Searcy Police Department arrested three suspects in connection with the Burglary of the Searcy Gun Store, Ultimate Outdoors.  Darnell Trevon Waters, 30, of Searcy and two juveniles were arrested at an apartment on S. Oak.

Wednesday, July 17: 20 guns stolen from Searcy gun store

Waters is currently being held at the White County Detention Center and has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Simultaneous Possession (Drugs & Firearms).  Both charges are Class C Felonies.  Waters is being held on a $100,000 bond and is awaiting a September 3, 2013 court date. 

A 17 year old male is charged with Simultaneous Possession and is being held at the Juvenile Detention Facility in Batesville.  The 13 year old male is being charged with Commercial Burglary, Simultaneous Possession, and Theft of Property and is also being held in Batesville.    

All charges for all three suspects are felonies.  Due to the age of the two juveniles, no descriptive information will be available. 

Detectives were able to recover seven of the stolen guns.

Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .38 revolver

(2) Taurus 9mm pistol

North American Arms .22mag revolver

North American Arms .22lr/.22mag combo revolver

Glock 21 .45 pistol

Taurus TCP .380 pistol

Sig Sauer 238 .380 pistol

Bond Arms .45/.410 combo pistol
