Returning airman meets his newborn triplets

A family with three new additions will soon head back to Little Rock to continue life as a new family.

Senior Airman Harley Wicks ended a six month deployment to Afghanistan by meeting his newborn triplets for the first time Monday in Spokane, Washington. Amber Wicks waited six and a half months for her husband to return from the Middle East.

"I feel so much better now that he's here," said Amber.

Amber gave birth to triplets just after her husband was deployed. Harley knows the moment signals a big shift, but said they can handle the challenge together, as a team, just like in the military.

"Trying to take care of three at once, but it's a challenge I'm looking forward to," said Harley.

The Wicks family said they plan to spend the next two weeks in Washington where Amber has been staying with her parents before heading back to Little Rock.
