A Hugo man is behind bars, accused of sexually abusing two minors -- years after he pleaded guilty to lewd molestation in another case.

According to authorities, a joint investigation between the OSBI, Choctaw County Sheriff's Office, Hugo Police Dept., and the Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services resulted in the arrest of 53-year-old Curtis Lee Martin on Wednesday.

Martin is accused of sexually abusing two minors in his Hugo home in 2011 and charged with two counts of lewd molestation.

In 1991, he pleaded guilty to lewd molestation of a child and was sentenced to a five year deferred sentence.

The conviction occurred before the sex offender registry laws went into effect, so Martin wasn't required to register as one, authorities said.

Investigators believe Martin may have victimized other children over the last 30 years who have not been identified.

Anyone with information concerning possible unidentified victims are encouraged to contact the OSBI Southeast Regional Office at (580)298-5525.
