Lane closures set for Thursday in Hot Springs

Posted: Updated:

HOT SPRINGS - Lane closures are set for this Thursday on two highly-trafficked roads.

Routine bridge maintenance on Highway 7 (Central Avenue) and Highway 70 (Airport Road) will require lane closures, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be repairing bridge navigational lights on two bridges crossing Lake Hamilton. The repairs will require closing the southbound outside lane on Highway 7 (Central Avenue) and the westbound outside lane on Highway 70 (Airport Road).

Both repairs are slated for Thursday, July 18 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using cones and warning signs.
