First Friday Art Crawl In Brady District

Posted: Updated:

Friday night, people gathered in the Brady Arts District in downtown Tulsa to celebrate the First Friday Art Crawl.

The first Friday of each month, shops in the Brady District stay open late for visitors to tour.

Tulsa Glassblowing Studio is just one shop offering tours and demonstrations.

Each month, they bring in different artists to showcase unique talents.

Organizers say the holiday weekend has not slowed down the crowds.

"It's equal to, if not maybe a little better, than most First Fridays," says Janet Duvall, Executive Director of Tulsa Glassblowing Studio.  "I think a lot of that is because we have beautiful weather, and usually, it's so hot that people aren't quite as excited to get out and walk around, but with the weather like it is, it's been great."
