Tulsa -

One man is recovering and other is in jail after a fight over a woman at an east Tulsa bar resulted in one of them being shot in the leg.

Tulsa Police said two men under the influence started yelling at each other around 2 a.m. at the Four Aces Tavern in East Tulsa Tuesday.  Witnesses said both men took the fight outside after getting kicked out.

Their fight turned physical when one of them, later identified as Jeremy Burnes, grabbed a gun from his car. He shot the other man in the thigh and into his other one.

Officers wrote in their arrest report that he had glossy eyes, slurred speech, unsteady on his feet and had "an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath/person."

The victim's wounds are not life-threatening. He has not been identified.
