Single-engine plane makes emergency landing in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS (KATV) -

A small plane made an emergency landing in Hot Springs Sunday.

The single-engine Beechcraft plane experienced mechanical problems and landed in a field on Morphew Road, according to the Garland County Sheriff's Department.

The pilots, Scott Schneberger, 64, and Christopher Hufford, 49, were enroute to St. Louis from Houston.

Neither pilot was injured but the plane did receive some damage.
