UPDATE: Escaped inmate in Lonoke County captured

LONOKE COUNTY (KATV) -

Law enforcement officers have captured an escaped inmate in Lonoke County.

Micah Lance Edwards, 22, fled the Detention Facility in Lonoke County around 7:00 p.m. Saturday, according to the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office.

He was found around 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Highway 236 West between Lonoke and Cabot.

Edwards is from Cabot and is known to frequent the Cabot area, according to authorities.

Edwards was being held for misdemeanor offenses from Ward Police Department and Springdale Police Department.
