Fireworks will light up the night sky across Green Country this Sunday, with the annual Rockets over Rhema.

One of the largest public fireworks events in the state, Rockets over Rhema is expected to draw crowds up to 55,000 people onto the Rhema campus at 1025 W. Kenosha.

Because of that, Broken Arrow Police will be closing 71st St. (Kenosha) from 145th E. Ave (Aspen) to 161st E. Ave (Elm) from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. to all through traffic.

The fireworks begin around 10 p.m.

But that's not all -- the event will also feature an outdoor concert, a car show, mechanical bull, a rock-climbing wall and concessions. Those events will kick off at 5 p.m. Sunday.
