(KATV) North Little Rock - Wednesday afternoon a truck driver getting off Interstate 40 overturned on the 440 overpass exit. The female driver told North Little Rock Police that her load shifted as she took the curve, tossing the truck on its side. Some of the semi hung above traffic going under the overpass.

The driver had cuts and minor injuries; she was transported to the hospital as a precaution.

The truck was reportedly loaded with 45,000 pounds of glass.

State Police, Highway Department employees, North Little Rock officer and firefighter responded to the scene.

The exit remained closed most of the afternoon. Crews on the scene had to wait for a crane to drag the truck off the overpass to a waiting wrecker.

With the one-lane overpass blocked, dozens of truck drivers that took the exit were stuck in traffic. State Police helped them back out of the exit. Drivers were detoured to another exit.
