LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Detectives arrested the man suspected in two bank robberies late Wednesday night.

Roderick Wilbert, 42, was taken into custody in the parking lot of the Walmart on Bowman around 1:15 a.m. Thursday.

Wilbert allegedly robbed the U.S. Bank at 10720 N. Rodney Parham on Monday. Employees told police he placed a note on the counter in front of a teller demanding money. A witness saw him running from the bank and getting into the passenger side of a late 1990's or early 2000's green Ford SUV driven by another man.

He is also accused of robbing the Summit Bank at 1800 N. Taylor on Wednesday. He was identified based on descriptions given by witnesses and surveillance video from both banks.

Wilbert is charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property. At last check, he was being held at the Pulaski County Jail.
