Double Murder Suspect Caught, Arrested in Tulsa

A man charged with two counts of murder out of Canadian County was found and arrested in Tulsa Tuesday.

Authorities said two people were found dead after firefighters extinguished a suspicious house fire in Calumet on June 16th.

After investigating, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Tulsa Police Dept. and ATF executed a search warrant at a home in the 4100 block of S. 39th. W. Ave in Tulsa on Tuesday, where they arrested 30-year-old Derek Posey on two murder charges.

Posey was taken to the Canadian County Jail in El Reno, where he awaits formal charges to be filed.
