Summer Blood Drive Includes Free Tulsa Zoo Tickets

Posted: Updated:

Tulsans can help save lives and get a free trip to the zoo at the same time this Wednesday.

The Oklahoma Blood Institute is holding a summer blood drive at the Education Center of Saint Francis Hospital from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Donors will get a voucher, redeemable for two tickets to the Tulsa Zoo, plus an OBI t-shirt for their help in saving as many as three lives.

Anyone who is healthy and 16 years of age or older can give blood -- and donations can be made every 56 days.
