Authorities Make Arrest in 2006 Murder of Two Women
Tulsa Police announced the arrest of a 36-year-old woman this week believed to be in connection with the murder of two women back in 2006.
Authorities with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Jaqueline Smith Tuesday in Mississippi. She was being charged with two accessory to murder warrants following the deaths of Dorothy Lindley and Linda Wright back in January of 2006.
According to TPD's Homicide Unit, detectives received "great assistance from the Okibbeha County Sheriff Department in Starkville Mississippi and the Kinder Police Department [in] Louisiana during the investigation."
Smith was taken into custody after an investigation that remained open since the murders of Lindley and Wright. Back in May of 2009, Hilliard Fulgham was suspected of taking part in the murder and was charged with two first degree murder warrants earlier this week.
Fulgham is currently being held within the Mississippi State Correctional System. Smith was taken to the St. Bernard Parish jail after the US Marshall Task Force placed her into custody.
