CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - The University of Central Arkansas has decided to put up lights at its track and soccer complex so it can host evening events.
The school's trustees voted Monday afternoon to spend around $190,000 to install the lights.
The track and field area and nearby soccer fields were completed without lights being installed, though an underground conduit was laid in case the school wanted to put in lights later.
The Conway area hosted last week's high school all-star events. Many events were held at the UCA campus, but the soccer games, which were played at night, had to be held at Conway High School because its field has lights.
