Police Searching For Suspect Following West Tulsa Shooting

Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting at a West Tulsa apartment complex, Monday Evening. Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting at a West Tulsa apartment complex, Monday Evening.

Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect following a shooting that resulted from a fight over a stolen bike Monday evening.

Police were called to the Riverview Apartments in the 2200 block of South Nogales Avenue around 7:30pm.

When they arrived they found a male in his thirties suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. He was transported by EMSA to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Tulsa Police Officer Anthony First says it appears the victim was attempting to recover his stolen bike from the suspect when the shooting occurred.

First says the suspect is described as a black male in his late teens with a goatee.
