OHP: Toddler Hit, Killed By Car

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a child is dead after being accidentally hit by a car.

It happened Saturday afternoon near Lake Oologah in Rogers County.

Troopers say a 23-year-old man was backing out of a campsite and did not see the child.

The child was hit by the car and died at the scene.

Names have been withheld due to the nature of the accident and the age of the child.
