Funeral set for Ark. couple who died after fire

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Funeral services are set to be held for a Little Rock couple who died after a suspicious fire at their home.

The Robinson Mortuary Chapel says funeral services for 51-year-old Donald Creer and his wife, 57-year-old Donna Creer, will begin Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock.

Burial will follow at the Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.

Police have said the Creers died after firefighters responded to a blaze at their home on June 12.

Authorities say firefighters found the back door of the home unlocked and that the fire is considered arson.

Donald Creer was known as a gospel singer and Donna Creer was a longtime gospel radio personality.
