Classes are canceled Tuesday at the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus at 9th and Boston.

The main building had an electrical fire in the basement Monday evening. Because of the damage, crews are not yet able to determine how damaged the building is or how long repairs will take.

Students should not go into the main building, but keep checking the website for class information.

Essential employees are still needed.

Nicole Burgin with TCC says the damage might take a while to fix, so they are looking for alternative sites to hold classes.  So far, nothing has been finalized.

The Center for Creativity remains open and was not damaged by the fire.

Everyone was able to get out and no one was hurt.
