Wynne High School band director arrested for sexual indecency

Posted: Updated:

WYNNE (KATV) - A high school band director was arrested Wednesday for allegedly soliciting sex from a 16-year-old female student.

The alleged victim told police that Nicholas Wayne Wooster had asked her for sex, kissed her and exposed himself to her among other allegations. She said the incidents started before Christmas vacation in December 2012, with the most recent case on April 29.

According to the arrest affidavit, Wooster admitted in an interview that he had kissed and exposed himself to the student in the band room, and also sent her messages of a sexual nature on Facebook.

Wooster is charged with sexual indecency with a child, which is a class D felony. Authorities tell KATV his picture is not available because their computer system and camera were temporarily down Thursday and Wooster posted bond before systems were restored.
