LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Police are looking for the man who robbed a Shell gas station late Tuesday night.

A witness told investigators he was pumping his gas when he saw the robber run out the front door of the store at 19500 Cantrell Road around 12:45 a.m. He started to chase them but stopped when he saw the man was armed. No description of the suspect is available, but the gun was a chrome revolver with a dark colored handle and a long barrel, possibly a small caliber.

The suspect got in a dark SUV then drove away northbound on Highway 300. The store clerk told police the thief didn't just take money - he took the entire cash register.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at (501) 371-4829.
