Taylor, Bartlett Advance to November Election for Tulsa Mayor

Kathy Taylor and Dewey Bartlett will face off in the Tulsa mayoral election in November according, to unofficial election results.

A single candidate did not receive the required 50 percent plus 1 vote to outright win the mayor’s seat.

As the top two candidates whose vote totals add up to more than 50, Taylor and Bartlett will advance to November’s general election.

Bill Christiansen came in third and has been eliminated from the race.

  • Kathy Taylor: 42.1%
  • Dewey Bartlett: 34.2%
  • Bill Christiansen: 23.1%
  • Lawrence Kirkpatrick: 0.4%
  • Jerry Branch: 0.2%

This is the first primary election since the city adopted a new non-partisan system for city offices.
