NORTH LITTLE ROCK (AP) - The Arkansas high school basketball championship games are returning to Hot Springs.

The Arkansas Activities Association voted Thursday to send the games back to Summit Arena after a 1-year stay at Barton Coliseum in Little Rock.

Summit Arena hosted the games in 2007-2012. What's now Verizon Arena in North Little Rock had the games in 2004-2006.

The Sentinel-Record reports the AAA voted 18-1 to move the championships back to Hot Springs.

Representatives of Verizon Arena, Barton Coliseum and Summit Arena all put on presentations for the board at Thursday's meeting.
