Jazz in the Park series start in LR in June

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A new weekly musical event is coming to the River Market District in downtown Little Rock.

Jazz in the Park begins on June 5 and is to be held each Wednesday through July 31. The performances last about two hours and begin at about 5:30 p.m.

The venue will be the History Pavilion in Riverfront Park, just west of the First Security Amphitheater.

A different jazz group will play each Wednesday. Opening night features Rodney Block & the Real Music Lovers.
