FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - Arkansas will be playing in the national NCAA men's golf tournament.
The Razorbacks finished second on Saturday in an NCAA Regional at Fayetteville.
Senior Austin Cook tied for first place individually and the Razorback team trailed only Illinois after the 54th hole. Illinois was one-under for the tournament and Arkansas was two-over.
Texas finished a distant third at 16-over, followed by Oklahoma State at 18-over and Kent State at 28-over. SMU was sixth at 31-over and Tulsa was seventh in the 14-team field at 44-over.
The top five teams in the regional qualify for the national tournament, which start May 28 at the Capital City Club in Atlanta.
