HOT SPRINGS (Hot Springs Daily) – A Mountain Pine man allegedly tried to rob and rape a woman inside the bathroom at a Hot Springs Sonic Drive-In.

The female victim told police she was in the restroom at Sonic on Central Avenue when someone knocked on the door. When she tried to leave the restroom, a white male pushed her back inside, knocking her to the ground.

The suspect then entered the restroom, and the victim started screaming. Talley allegedly held a large pair of scissors to her throat and threatened her. The victim tried to defend herself while continuing to scream for help. Talley allegedly then grabbed her by the front of her shirt and assaulted her before running away.

Talley was found behind an O'Reilly Auto Parts store carrying a large pair of scissors and matching the victim's description of her attacker.

After being taken back to the Hot Springs Police Department, Talley reportedly admitted he has "sexual urges when [he] uses cocaine and methamphetamines that [he] can't control." He also "intended on raping and robbing that girl."

Talley is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threatening, battery in the 3rd degree, criminal mischief and criminal attempt to commit rape.
