SPRINGDALE (AP) - Tulsa pitcher Christian Bergman gave up a first-inning solo home run but then kept the Arkansas Naturals' bats quiet for seven innings in a 7-1 victory Sunday.
Including the home run by Brett Eibner, Bergman allowed five hits while striking out three at Arvest Ballpark.
Bergman picked up his third victory of the season and lowered his ERA to 3.02.
Drillers' catcher Jose Gonzalez answered Eibner's homer with a two-run shot in the second. Tulsa added runs in the third and fifth innings. In the fifth, a Naturals' error led to another run crossing and Tulsa led 4-1.
Kent Matthes went 3 for 5 with a double and three RBIs.
The teams return to action Monday with an 11 a.m. first pitch.
