WEST MEMPHIS (Evening Times) - Crittenden Regional Hospital will open its new specialty office, Crittenden Regional Women's Clinic, in West Memphis on Monday.
"The clinic aims to deliver quality, patient-centered comprehensive prenatal, obstetric and gynecologic care for women in our community," said a press release.
Sonia Joseph, DO, has joined the staff as an ob/gyn will practice at the Crittenden Regional Women's Clinic along with Shirley Tanner, APN, WHNP.
Dr. Joseph is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and received her doctoral degree in osteopathic medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif., and completed her residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in New York. Prior to moving to the area, Dr. Joseph was in private practice in New York for eight years.
Shirley Tanner, APN, has specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology for over 30 years, working alongside Dr. James DeRossitt. Tanner completed the Advanced Practice and Women's Health Nurse Program in 2002 and worked as a registered nurse practitioner for 10 years prior to completion. She serves on the Women's Health Council and Breastfeeding Council.
