How do you keep family ties strong as teens begin to reach for independence?

The high school years are a time when teenagers typically begin to pull away from their parents.  So how do you keep that relationship with your kids strong?  Joan Early found a group of parents from Bryant High School who say the key is to keep the conversation flowing.
