Bartlesville Man Found Shot to Death Outside Home

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. -

Authorities in Bartlesville are investigating after a man was shot to death while working on a car in his front yard.

Bartlesville Police Capt. Jay Hastings says 46-year-old Douglas Wayne Diaz was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting was reported at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Hastings tells the Examiner-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/10SIT5M ) that they're investigating the case as a homicide.

Police did not release further details about the shooting.

Hastings says detectives spent the night pursuing leads in the case, but no arrest has been made.
