Teens Rob Woman In Drive-Through Lane, Police Say

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa officers arrest four juvenile boys and a 19-year-old woman after a hold-up at a Tulsa fast food restaurant.

Police said the teens blocked the victim in at McDonald's near 200 N. Gilcrease Museum Road as she was ordering in the drive-through lane.

Four teens boys, all under the age of 18, got out of the car and approached the woman. Police said two of them had guns.

The pack of suspects swarmed the woman's car and stuck the guns in her face. They took valuables like an iPad, cell phone and purse. Officers said the woman wasn't hurt in the ordeal and no shots were fired.

Shortly after the original call, an officer driving on west Edison Street noticed a car matching the suspect's vehicle description. Officers pulled the car over and arrested everyone. Corporal Dan Miller said officers found a BB gun inside their car and live ammunition from a pistol. Police were still searching for the weapons used.

"Real lucky that they stayed in the area for some reason," he said. "Happened to come up on them and caught them here within a half mile of the McDonalds."

At least one of the suspects would not cooperate with police when asked questions.

The suspects' names have not been released.
