FAYETTEVILLE (Arkansas News Bureau) — Former Arkansas running back Knile Davis agreed to terms with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.
The Chiefs announced Davis had signed with organization after wrapping up this weekend's rookie mini-camp. Davis was drafted in the third round of last month's NFL Draft.
Davis rushed for 1,322 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2010, which was his best season with the Razorbacks. He missed the entire 2011 season with a broken ankle and struggled in 2012, but was still the first of four former Razorbacks selected in the 2013 NFL Draft.
He is expected to compete for playing time in a Kansas City backfield led by veteran Jamaal Charles.
