Conway bank accounts accessed, used in Florida

CONWAY (Log Cabin Democrat) - Several Conway residents reported to the police over the weekend that their Centennial bank accounts had been accessed and used to make purchases in Florida.

At least four police reports from the weekend indicated that Conway residents who bank at Centennial Bank had suspicious charges associated with their accounts from Target, McDonalds, Home Depot, 7-11 and Walgreens. The incident reports showed fraudulent charges ranging from $146.92 to $753.58.

According to the police reports, the victims had already contacted their bank and were asked to obtain a police report on the incident before Centennial would replace the funds.

Unauthorized charges to customer accounts originated in Los Angeles, Calif.
