Police arrested a 51-year-old man Sunday morning after they found him passed out in a park and determined a warrant was in effect for him.

Stanley Engram was placed under arrest early Sunday morning on a complaint of distribution of a controlled substance. He was found passed out in an area of downtown Tulsa near the 100 block of N. Archer St.

An officer's booking report describes that when he approached Engram on the ground in the park, he stated he had "just smoked K2 and had warrants."

According to a fact sheet from the Drug Enforcement Agency, K2 is a mixture of herbs and spices that is typically sprayed with a synthetic compound chemically similar to THC (the psychoactive ingredients in marijuana). It is also known as "spice," "bombay blue" and "zohai."

When the officer conducted a records check it was discovered that Engram had a felony warrant for his arrest. Court documents also list him as a convicted felon on charges including:

   - Larceny of merchandise from retailer

   - Bringing contraband into jail/penal institution

   - Grand larceny

   - Possession of a controlled substance

   - Possession of a stolen vehicle

According to an affidavit, Engram reportedly sold a "20 dollar rock of crack cocaine" to an undercover police officer during an operation back in February. He was taken into custody after officers determined the white rock-like substance was cocaine.

Engram is now being held on $2,500 bond and due in court next week.
