Tulsa Fire investigators are looking into the cause of an apartment fire in Downtown Tulsa, early Sunday morning.

District Chief Jeremy Moore stated that around midnight, Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputies driving by noticed a flame in the window of an abandoned apartment building at 7th & Elgin.

The deputies reported to dispatchers that there were people inside the building at the time.

Fire crews quickly responded to the scene and rescued one person from the second floor. According to Moore, crews were able to get the fire knocked down very quickly.
