Update: Road Rage Victim Dies in Hospital

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -

Update: The victim 45-year-old Arista Aldridge has died at UAMS. Police charged 28-year-old Chris Schnarr with one count of first degree murder.

 

One man is in custody after a case of road rage ends in gun violence Saturday afternoon.  

According to Little Rock Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Cassandra Davis, around 1:30 two men were driving West on Interstate 30 when something happened that incited road rage. 

The two men exited on East 6th Street and got out of their vehicles. 

Davis says shooting victim approached the other vehicle where the second man pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest and shoulder.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  

Arkansas State Police arrested the shooter and have him in custody. 

No names are being released at this time.
