Early morning accident claims life

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - An early morning accident claimed the life of a 21 year old woman.

Investigators report around 4 a.m. Maria Allen was traveling on Airport Drive when she entered a curve losing control of her vehicle. The automobile ran into a large sign pole on the driver's side and crushed the door into the passenger side of the vehicle.  

Responders to the scene said she died on impact, and was the only subject in the vehicle.

Allen was on her way to work at the Clinton National Airport Starbucks.
