Griffin to host 'Ridin' with your rep' event

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin of Arkansas says he wants to talk with motorcyclists and motocross enthusiasts about issues that affect them, on their turf.

Griffin is holding an event next month where he'll ride with constituents and talk with them about issues such as limits on riding areas and ethanol mandates. The "Ridin' with your Rep" event will be held at the North Little Rock ORV Park on June 1 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Motocross, dirt bike and ATV riders are welcome to participate in the event.

Griffin, a Republican, is the co-chairman of the Congressional Motorcycle Caucus.

The event is open to the public, but registration is required to ride and can be completed by calling 501-324-5941 or visiting www.griffin.house.gov/motocross .
